RoadRunner, Sorry I'm late responding, don't have a shot from yesterday but wanted to compliment you on the first photo--Great Shot and PP!
Is that river as narrow as it looks between the near bank and the outside boats? It looks as if it would be very close quarters maneuvering a deep draft sailboat into the floats where that black yawl, or even the sloop with the red sail covers, are docked especially with any serious current running. I had a slip like that several years back, and sometimes getting in during an adverse tide was a real 'Chinese fire drill'.

The marina is in the mouth of the Chaudiere River which empties into the St. Lawrence River and by being there it protects the boats from high winds and such. This place goes back into the 1800's when they were driving wood from miles and miles upstream. THANK YOU for your comment ...
