What is it? There are no emblems. I think it might
be some old Chrysler product.

It isn't a placard, it is a solar cell for some kind of light.

Very nice images
I did a search for 1935-1939 Autos, Nothing like this came up. Not a Chrysler product nor a Hudson for sure.

Definitely not a Chevy! Disregard the Flying Pig hood ornament as this is an aftermarket purchase. From the grille and the side vents on the hood it bears quite a resemblance to a '35 or '36 Desoto as well as the overall body styling.

Nope not a DeSoto we had one when I was a kid!! and I did a search .

2) The vents on the hood side are not original

I think you're wrong about it being a Pontiac, grille is too laid back to be a Pontiac.
