Hello All!
Many... many... many moons ago I dabbled in photography. I had a 35 mm Olympus OM-1 (I miss that camera). I thought I would try my hand in this wonderful hobby again. I recently purchased a Nikon D5300 with the kit lenses. I also purchased a Nikkor 50 mm 1.8 prime lens. The 50 is a very sharp lens. Anyway, a digital camera has lot more features than my old OM-1. It is taking a lot of time turn learn all the features, but it is nice to have them. I am happy to be a part of this forum as I need all the help I can get to learn. Any suggestions on photos I post would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to UHH. Nice sunflower image. I would play with it in a program like Lightroom, to increase some contrast to give it more of a punch
