After searching through a ton of Fort Washingtons, is it the National Park in Maryland???

I've been three or four times. I live only about 30 miles south of there. I like the view of the Potomac River when you're on top of the fort. Fort Foote is close to Fort Washington. Fort Foote had some of the largest cannons that were used during the Civil War. They were 15-inch Rodman cannons. Confederate ships would be bombarded by cannon fire from both forts if they tried to make their way along the Potomac towards Washington D.C. From what I understand, Confederate ships never attempted to do that.
