I've been using a FZ50 for a while. My interests are landscape,architecture and travel photography. Have little interest in vidio. My question is it worthwhile to consider new equipment. I'm quite familiar with my FZ and just questioning whether expense is worth upgrading.

I am guessing that if you replace it with the 2017 version of your camera the only real difference will be an increased zoom range.

If you are happy with what you are getting from your FZ50, why would you change? On the other hand if you think you are missing things you feel the FZ50 can't get, or get right, then make the change.

I owned an FZ50 for several years and really liked so many of the features. The downside for me was the small LCD screen more than anything else. My FZ200 offers more in some regards but I do miss the lens barrel functions of the 50.
