With the German/Russian/Whatever accent, I only survived the first minute of 15 minutes.
Everybody wants to make a Youtube video. I'm not a videographer, but creating a video where the accent completely obliterates the message seems to me a waste of time. And that's only the beginning. So many of these videos, including this one, are poorly framed, the audio--even without the accent--is poor. Ambient noise, some from the recording camera, add to the difficulty. Exposures are barely usable.
For a still photographer to put this in public is embarrassing. The audio is excusable (barely) but bad composition, lighting and exposure are the key to good still photography. Why are they ignored, just because it's video?
I just won't bother watching bad videos anymore. In fact, I rejected a piece of software because the tutorial videos were so bad I would have to endure headaches to learn it.
It took 6 and a half minutes for the guy to introduce the subject and cover just one item. Way to long for internet users.
LOL! Didnt expect much from people here and this proves it. The accent, the quality of the video, even the freaking composition.....LOL! I will take a wild guess and say are you, previous posters, Sony or 3/4 system users? Not a single comment about the content of the video, its remarkable to say the least. Ahhhh, fanboys... LOL!
I am a Sony user mostly because I was heavy into the Minolta system and had mostly every lens. It was economically better to switch to Sony and use the lenses I owned rather than start over with a new system. I do agree with much of the video. Sony doesn't care about it's customers. There isn't much of selection of aftermarket lenses. I do have a few Sony lenses and as you stated and they are quite pricey. I haven't had any problem with the single card setup and as for batteries I have A dozen or more for my two bodies. I also think I may add A Canon or a Nikon full frame to my collection in the next year or two. As for Film camera's I have a Minolta 9XI and with an APO lens it will take a good digital camera to match the sharpness. I only shoot a few rolls a year but I see a difference in quality verses digital. Unfortunately film and processing costs have gone out of control and digital is the way to go. Hopefully the quality will improve in the next few years.
