Went to the Museum yesterday to do some up-date pics of our restoration. We managed to source a complete exhaust system from the US so things are really coming together nicely.

Love that big old radial and the gull wings - one great airplane. Kudos for restoring it!

One of my favorites. Going to be beautiful.
It took the Aussies to show the US Navy how the land the F4U on a carrier.
The Navy/Marines had relegated them to land bases because of the poor forward visibility over the long nose.
The Aussies showed the Navy how drop that baby on the deck.
That looks like a project to be proud of. What model of the aircraft is it, and has your team decided how to finish it yet?
We are going to the Dayton air show on the 23rd of June and the Air Force Museum. Hope to get some decent pictures this time.
