Hi all, I'm a life-long amateur photographer currently shooting a Nikon D7000. Spent WAY too much time in the darkroom as a teenager, which explains a lot <g>. I love to experiment, push myself, and learn new techniques. All digital now, but when I retire I want to get a nice view camera and do some traveling. I'm looking forward to participating.

Welcome aboard!! There are a lot of sub-forums here (HDR, Long Exposure, Digital Processing, etc.) if you're looking for specialized topics. Discussions can get heated at times, but there's always a lot to learn.

Good morning and welcome to our forum. If you love to experiment and try new techniques , you will love the Hog. There are always photo challenges you can enter where you can do both. There are many great people here willing to give their time to help with a problem, explain something confusing or just chat the afternoon away. So sit back, post some photos, ask a question or two, but most of all, enjoy.
