I'm a retiree who enjoys photography as a hobby. Nikon shooter with too much stuff -- the curse of a curious gear-head. [grin] I'm on the forum almost daily, but I don't talk much, so I never got around to posting an introduction. That's bad manners of me, because I owe a 'thank-you' for the knowledge and experience you've all shared.

Welcome to the forum. With a few exceptions this is a very great group of photographers. I am an experienced photographer and find this group to be very knowledgeable and have helped me to improve as a photographer. I am sure you will have the same experience. I use a D7000 and a D810.

Aloha Draw865 and welcome to UHH. As you have already noted this is a great place to learn. You'll learn even more by posting some of your photos. I also shoot Nikon with a D810 as my primary camera with a D7100 and D200 as my backup cameras. Hoping to see some of your posts in the near future.
