Need help to export LR product into Google. Have used LR forum and apparently no one has asked this question. Looked for answers but found none. Would like to occasionally drop pix into google photos to aid in easier emailing. (Not to store or process) . Anyone tried this or successfully doing it ?

Why do you need to export to Google to e-mail? LR will export directly to e-mail for you--in my case it goes to Outlook to be sent out, because that is my default e-mail handler.

While I don't use it personally here is a video that shows you all the steps. I found this in on the first search. No one in the LR forum knew this, very strange?

I email from Lighroom all the time and I'm using Google Mail. All I need to do is to email directly from Lightroom -- there is no need for an extra step.
If you insist on the extra step, export to a folder on your local drive and email from that folder, but that extra step is not necessary. Best of luck.

The original question from WERG asked about Google Photo, not Gmail. If he is referring to Google Photos (not Photo), that is a web repository where the your collection of uploaded photos reside.Using this method, you can share a link via email with any number of images which would have exceeded your email size allotment. (Google... Google Photos)

The OP inquired about emailing through Google, photo, photos or whatever. I merely pointed out that it was possible to skip that step. My second answer would work if he just wanted to upload.

It was not clear to me what the OP wanted to export to--he just wrote "Google". I'm not a user of Google Photos (didn't know there was one) and therefore unfamiliar with its supposed benefits regarding multiple e-mails. I do note that my LR version does not have a default upload facility for Google (I do use the one for Flickr).

A web search found this document: http://jnack.com/blog/2015/05/30/tip-integrating-lightroom-with-google-photos/ but it indicates that no "Publish" software for LR yet exists to export to Google Photos. There was one for Picasa but it seems it has been removed.

In LR CC (what I have) I did a search for additional Publish Services and ultimately found one called "Photo Upload Picasa Web" that says it will upload for Google Photos. That may be the old service that has been discontinued, though (although it has a Published date of 6 Apr 2017). It is version 4.3.4 and has a Twitter Tag of #PhotoUploa4_3. I haven't tried it (I don't use Google Photos) but at least it says it's recent and compatible with LR versions 4.0 - 6.8.

OTOH, in this document https://www.lightroomforums.net/threads/how-to-upload-photos-from-lightroom-to-google-photos.30668/ it indicates that the LR offering does not work, and that Google itself has no plans to offer an API to perform this task. It would appear that it will be up to some independent developer to come up with a viable alternative.

The interpretation of some respondents is that Google does not want there to be an ability to easily move photos from Adobe LR into Google Photos. Perhaps this is just rivalry between competitors or may be related to some issues Adobe reportedly has with security.

...no...but it's a cool idea and I'm going to investigate. Google Photos is a nice resource for free storage (you *do* take a hit on quality, but not much) and sharing with others...if, upon export after processing, I can find that way to *also* get the image up to Google Photos, well, that's bonus...

...oops, good example of "read the dang thread before you post!" Just perused David's post and now will forgo my search...all it means is I create the folder to export from LR to, finish the job, and then export to Google Photos like I've been doing...

I don't have a dog in the show (don't use Google Photos®) but I do understand the angst--I had problems a while back with the Flickr® Publish Service and still can't do SmugMug®. If Google doesn't provide an API for others to use, it would require some very savvy programmers to probe their code and create an API before a way to move photos directly from Lightroom® to Google Photos could be built. If the demand is strong enough, someone will probably attempt to do this (or Google will relent), but it may take years.

I assume, although I do not use Google photos, that you want to export finished photos to the Google photos site? As others have said, you can email directly from within LR if you want to do that and I think they have provided you with that information. However, if you want to export a group of photos, which I do for Flickr, directly from within LR you need to go to the Publish Services panel at the bottom left side in Library Mode. You will see some options there, such as Facebook and Flickr. At the bottom you will see an option that says, "Find More Services Online." Click on that and it will take you to pages of available "services" and presets to use in LR. I do not use the Flickr option provided within LR to export to Flickr but instead use an option I got on the Services site called Photo Upload. I have included a screen shot of what I found there for Google, which is also from Photo Upload. It looks like it is the same software for Picassa. Most everything on these pages costs very little. Follow their instructions and the upload will allow you to create a folder with the desired photos in it which you can then simply upload to the Google Photos site. If you want to change them or take them off the site remember to do that, too from within the Publish Services panel. It will keep track of everything for you.

When my Flickr publish service "went out" I purchased the Photo Upload version on the Publish Services pages and still use it today. No problem at all.

I believe the Picasa upload no longer works. I also purchased the "Photo Upload" service for Flickr® when their tool failed a year or two ago, but when I got a new version of LR their tool was working so I stopped using the other one.

I recently bought a Lightroom publishing plug-in from the Adobe add-on site. They sell third-party apps and pre-sets, and there is one for Uploading to Google Drive.

I bought one that directly posts to my Dropbox account. I believe you are looking for something similar.

All I have to do is drag and drop the images into the publish service dropbox collection (which is virtual just like when you drop images into a collection), hit the publish button, and the images are posted in Dropbox. I do not have to export any jpeg images to a folder on my hard drive and move them to dropbox, which avoids having duplicate files taking up space on the hard drive. To remove an image from Dropbox, all l have to do is remove the image from the publish collection.

Here's how to get to Adobe's Add on site.

In the navigation panel in Lightroom, Click on the plus button next to Publish Services.
Click on Go to Publishing Manager.
Then Click on the Plug-in Manager button at the bottom left of the dialog box that opened.
At the bottom left of the next dialog box click on Adobe Add-ons.
The Adobe Add-ons website will open. In the left panel click on Lightroom to filter the selections.
Type Publish in the seach box. There you will find plug-ins for several services.

Good Luck.
