As new. Owned less than a year and used sparingly. No marks on exterior, glass is perfect. With original box, lens caps and case. $1,500.

I see it's an A-mount lens, so I'm not tempted. Good luck!

Yes, and I use it with a Sony adapter LEA-3 which works great, but I think the new 100-400 GM E-mount will be a neater solution. I costs $2,500 though, so the A-mount with an adapter is much less expensive.

Do you have specs of how the alpha mount plus adapter compares to EF version in terms of weight and size?

No, but I imagine the E-mount will be a little smaller. About the same weight I think. The E-mount is a GM lens so it is their highest resolution series and should have better autofocus capabilities. Having said that, the A-mount with the LEA-3 is getting very good reviews for focus speed on the A7 series, especially the GII version.

Yeah. There's always a price to pay. My Sony A6000 is not my main camera, so I'm not going to invest too much into it.

Same here. My canon 5d mark 3 is my main and the A6000 is a great back up and walk around unit.

The lense pictured is an "A" mount?

Yes, the 70-400 GII is an A-mount lens. Can be used on E-mount cameras with an adapter.

Yes it is - until I put the 18-200mm lens on it.

Did the 18-200 help or hurt?

Great lens, but it's almost 4: long.
