These articles are everywhere and are not worth reading until some decision is made. The only winners in this are the travel case manufacturers like Pelican.

Airlines win too through extra baggage charges.

Except maybe those who actually added a charge for carry-ons.

Maybe computer makers if hotels need to start adding computers to rooms.

Nothing but good to say after transporting 25k in gear while traveling to Norway. TSA has been stellar and it seems I am getting extra good care with the use of Pelican cases. Two trips this month and not a scratch.

The gear when properly transported using the correct hard cases will be fine as check in luggage...

The trip is so much easier without tons of carry on gear weighting me down. Two separate trips and such a relief to know it is not necessary to Cary it all on board...the worring had endec
