Wow, it's an intimate view of cabbage, with a finely balanced composition. The curvelinear lines are soothing, and it feels as if the observer is ensconced into a sort of "heart" of a landscape.

I love the 3 major elements, with a 4th element sort of offsetting those major elements in the top left.

This is innovative, mesmerizing, and excellent. Pretty impressive that you thought of this.

I really do appreciate your in depth look at this image, Laurence, and overwhelmed and encouraged by your generous comments. Thank you!! I have been enjoying your posts over the past few months, impressive macro/close up work for sure! Always more to learn, always a different perspective even on a common subject.

John, thank you so much for finding and commenting on this little piece! I am humbled by your response! Its fascinating to find something artful in the common, ordinary, everyday stuff...which is generally in the produce department!! The interesting patterns in fruits and vegetables, seen upclose and differently, is so cool! Even the mold that eventually comes to my unused produce can be photogenic !!

Sorry about my late response, have been out to Oregon, no computer, no laptop, no TV, no iphone!

Hi,Sue! While I was gone, I had no computer or iphone so did not log in. Now that I'm back, I can log in (actually I never log out) and on site I can read replies. On "google" account, I just keep UHH on a bookmark and can open it up when I want. Hope you are staying cool. I missed the 97ยบ heat while in Oregon. Was chilly and rain most days last week, no need for any "cute little sundress"... in jeans and jacket/sweatshirt the whole time!
