I pretty much let my yard do what it wants--the neighbors must despair of me--whatever the birds, bees and butterflies like, so do I. The Hollyhock plants are well over my head already.

Beautiful.

Funny Pat, I love those self portraits. It reminds me of the painting "American Gothic" by Grant Wood. ( Farmer and his wife with a pitchfork).

I have not been able to work or plant a garden this year darn it. The boys have been helping me with those darn weeds around the house but that's about it. So here are some from the archives.

Great to see you back! My garden is lacking this year, we have had terrible draught and wildfires this year, but I may have some from last fall.

This coming week is "National Garden Week" here in the US. Got a garden? Visited one recently? I prefer to look at gardens rather than work in them. First you have to gather the tools, get out the bug spray, dress for ticks, put liniment or Ben Gay on back and joints. So, let's see your gardens...

My daughter in law does the planting, etc. now, I do some weeding when it's not too hot out (early morning).

Pat, I love these photos! So funny, I started my day with the biggest smile. I am posting a couple of collages and maybe one or two others. These will be my only photos for this challenge as I am not home this week and can't get to my files. But these are from my yard. We have had severe draught this spring so not much looks good this year so far. I tend to plant things to attract butterflies and pollinators.

Some from our gardens, Maggie has a green thumb. The rose bushes along the driveway came with the house, Maggie added some to the front yard along with many other plants. I dead-head the roses and prune them.
