One Disadvantage of a Large Monitor

I love my Dell 27" monitor, but several times a day, I have trouble finding the cursor. Of course, I can hit the Ctrl key and have the cursor surrounded by a large circle, but that's another step. I just move the mouse around until I see that little arrow.

My problem is that by time I find the cursor, I forget what I was going to do with it.

On my 27" iMac I was able to go into "Accessibility >> Display >> Increase Cursor Size" Helps a lot.

I could do that in Windows, but I don't want to feel old.

Perhaps adjusting the pointer size and style may help too?

Again, that's for old folks.

Or for folks who complain about not being able to find their cursor!

Huh. What res. do you have your Monitor set for? My wife has a 26" or 27" Dell Monitor with a Dell Inspiron PC Tower, and yes the cursor is slightly harder to notice than with my 22" AOC Monitor and Dell XPS Tower. Much of that is just the viewing distances on the tables. Both Windows 10 systems are set to Standard Resolution on the video cards. Fonts and editing tools are easy enough to see. I guess being old and Near-Sighted helps. I need my glasses for driving and watching TV, not Photography.

Also I don't get anything special to happen by just pressing the Ctrl Key. But usually the higher the Res. the smaller the fonts and icon. I hear MS-Word and Excel are a bear on a 4K. PS, I just found I had to turn that Cursor feature on in the Control Panel.

1920 X 1080. You can get that circle from the Ctrl key in Settings > Mouse...

Don't think, "you are old"! Think, "you are older". Sounds & feels better.
Or, buy a larger monitor. Pointer/cursor will be bigger?? LOL
Actually I think, as your customary daily routine, you have a minimum personal requirement of 10 posts per day.
You had only 9 that made sense, so you threw out the cursor post to fill in.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm 37.

Whenever I hear "The Who" sing "I hope I die before I get old," I think "too late."
