Spent two days there last year and never saw the mountain for cloud. Did however see it from Anchorage 80 miles away.
Magical place Alaska
Magnificent....what beautiful scenery.
Just some FYI: Denali means "The Big One" in the Inuit language. Been there. A beautiful place. We sure are lucky to have Alaska as a state.
Very beautiful set, topshot!
You're in the 30% club. We saw it from Talketna for about 5 minutes last July. Nice photos

Ditto.
We saw the mountain from the top floor of the Captain Cook Hotel in Anchorage,
and then spent two days in the park, and never saw her again.
Thought I remember calculating the distance to be 237 mile via crow, not 80.
Gorgeous photography, thank for sharing.

Wonderful shots. Several of your photos have leading lines that lead you into your photos. Very good compositions.
Very nice series from inside the park, and a unique one of the peak from the air. You were indeed fortunate to see the mountain. Statistically, you only have about a 25-30% chance of seeing the mountain. It's land mass is so big that it tends to create its own weather, and it is often obscured by clouds, even if it's clear, sunny day.
Denali is a native name meaning "The Great One."
Wonderful images. You caught the mountain in perfect view. Well done.
