N.C. sunrise
This was part of our family vacation in May. I was up every day to capture the sunrise. Hope you enjoy as much as I did! We were at the Outer Banks.
Nice sunrises. I do the same when I'm down there,
usually in the Myrtle beach area. Ocean sunrises are
a little different than lake sunsets here in upstate NY.
Did you get to Hatteras or any other lighthouse locations?
Nice shot's ......where in upstate are u?? if I may ask
While working with a commercial photog quite a while back, a client wanted his product held by a beautiful model on the beach in South Carolina, with a dazzling "sunset" in the background...duh, REALLY?

I live in the Birth place of Memorial Day, Waterloo. It is located close to the northern tip of Seneca Lake one of the Finger Lakes. I work for ITT Goulds Pumps and I will be retired in two weeks and I can't wait!!!! There will be plenty of time for shooting photos.

I believe that there is only three lighthouses there. I did not get to Hatteras. It was a little too far and did not fit our plans. We will get there the next time!
Yupp been to Waterloo............longggggg time ago tho....been in NC since 79 dont get back to NY much....most of my family is on the east side Kingston, Saugerties area....used to love to go to the Western part of NY....It's funny most people here in NC when they find out your from NY first thing that comes to mind is the city and they dont trust you lol...I think most ppl need to go and see NY the city and the north and western parts

Quicktee - good luck with retirement - now you can really do some "free time" stuff. Although, I'm busier now (non paid) than before retirement. But having a lot of fun, especially with my cameras.
Tom - I agree about what others think when you say you are from NY. I now just say near Niagara Falls and there's pretty much a whole different attitude.
BTW my wife says she knows of a nice mall in Waterloo.
(Shhh - I told her they closed it) It is a pretty area. Probably be passing through there in the fall on my way to New England area.
Everyone - smile as often as you can...........

I like the first one the most...just a quick comment, though...straighten the horizon line and you've got yourself a real keeper.
