Where would I start cleaning to get an enlongnated curve oddity off my photos. It does it with any of my lens with a pic of clear blue sky - so that means it is in the camera somewhere. Do I do the same procedure that I do with a DSLR and hold the camera upside down an use the bulb syringe? There is no mirror.

there is not mirror, but you may want to clean the sensor.

Before you do any cleaning on the sensor, use a squeeze bulb to blow air on it. (Don't you blow on it because your breath will make it worse.) Often times this is all it takes.

I agree about using a blower. I purchased the Koh Global Hepa Jet Air II blower. It has a large hepa filter that filters out 99.97% of dust particles. It also an anti-static filter and one-way check valve. It has worked great to blow dust off the sensors of my cameras and also the focusing screen. The bulb is made of medical grade PVC and won't flake off particles the way that rubber bulbs can. Non-filtered blowers can just blow dust right back on your sensor. Adorama Camera carries it and you can also order it directly from Koh Global.

Thanks for the info and I have done both suggestions - using the squeeze bulb and the sensor cleaning on the camera. Now I have to wait until tomorrow for the blue sky to test it. If it is not clean, I will repeat the procedures. Thanks to all of you.

Posting a picture would help with answers.

You don't need a clear sky. Any clear surface can work. One of these is better and faster than the sky.

I have just tested the lens after the cleaning and the elongated area is gone.
Thanks to everyone.
