Fast shutter water spray.
Great captures, Earl. Love the first shot.

Fantastic shots! The "Velvet look" is great for waterfalls, but for swimming, surfing, etc. you want to freeze the action, right down to the water drops, just like you did. Very well done.

Nice! A slow shutter would definitely work for these shots.
I hate the creamy look. Your photos are great!
Earl ....wonderful shot's.....love how you were brave enough to show the water the way we would have seen it if we were there with you...

Some people use very slow shutter speeds to make moving water look creamy. I went the opposite way here to absolutely 'freeze' the water spray. Downloading is recommended.
Great series, I prefer the freeze water action that you used, less artsy more graphic, good job
Very nicely done. I've never understood the desire to make water look like milk.
Nice set. Captures the action very well.
Was the lens the G2 and what focal length?

Earl, did good capturing the wipe outs. Frozen water spray is cool to me.

Great capture. I love to see water look like water and not milk.
Nice shots Earl. Depending on the subject matter, freezing the water can look better. In these images it does IMO.
