Can't argue that. Even the Comandatore (Enzo Ferrari) said so. Had a chance to buy a nice 65 E-type in the 70s for $2,800 as I recall. Took it for a test drive on the beltline, got up to a hundred or so and stamped on the binders as I came up on traffic - nothing. You know how it actually feels like it's going faster when you hit the brakes and nothing happens? Having disassembled the rear subframe of an E-type to work on the rear brakes (many hours), I knew how hard it was to maintain, and returned the car without purchasing it. Very, very big mistake.
