My guess would be Coopers too...and what a great series...absolutely loved that first shot!!!
Thanks Mustanger, and everyone else for the replies. This nest was misidentified by a state conservationist as a falcon. They did stop the construction site until all the young have fledged though. It is the last tree standing. I have only seen one adult tending. There was a missed attempt at a songbird this morning. Ultimately it settled for a rodent. Mike
