Lexar Cards With Recovery Software

Lexar's pro line SD cards come with their Image Rescue 5 Software free. Since the software costs $33.95 if bought separately it seems like a good deal. But how well does it work? The description states it can recover corrupted or deleted data but there are understandably no guarantees. Does anyone have any experience using this software or know anything about it's effectiveness? Thanks.

It's extremely good, I have used it since version 3 in my store to recover customers lost files.

Excellent and helpful information, thanks. Does it work for any brand SD card or only Lexars?

I have it also - it works on any brand and any type of card, including thumb drives.

I recently had to recover files for my daughter. Her card was a Transcend- worked like a champ. I used the OS X version. The restore process was much quicker than using Recuva.

I've used it twice and had a code and let someone else use one of my codes and they were successful too. Works great, but it's slow and the filenames won't be the same. It takes 2-3 hours.

Thanks very much to all of you, I really appreciate your taking the time to post this very helpful info. Do any other SD card manufacturer offer software like this with their products? Seems like a natural thing to do and should be attractive to purchasers. I'll be buying one.
