Wasn't the students fault!!!! The curb was too low.

I have a sort of similar story--the students were running late to get back to class (back in the old days when driver training was taught during school), so the instructor took the wheel to hurry. He hit a slick spot and landed in the ditch. He then proceeded to try to talk the students into saying that one of them was driving instead of him. That was his last stint at teaching driver training.
