The D750 is an excellent choice. If I weren't a Canon shooter and had a big investment in lenses, it would be on my short list of most desirable bodies.

Canon will be announcing the 6D MII next week which looks pretty impressive with a 26mp sensor, GPS, a fully articulated rear screen, a first for any FF DSLR, WiFi etc and DPAF and is full frame at reasonable price. No it is not a super camera but and excellent mid range FF camera. The specs were quite impressive.

She would enjoy the D500 (DX) or the D750 (FX). The 24-120 lens is a great choice for either camera.
