From the many, many reviews I have read about the Sony in the last day - Nope. Lots of people don't like them. The reasons vary, but many have dumped them to return to Nikon?Canon

An equal amount of people dislike Nikon and canon...for their lack of innovativeness...oh wait maybe that's just me.
But seriously why does it matter.

Well, I don't know. Sony turned a profit selling cameras last year... while Canon and more importantly Nikon... did not. In fact, Canon lost a big chunk of money and Nikon went DEEEEEEEP in the red.
And while I have no doubt that some did as you said and returned to canikon from Sony, I also have no doubt about the many many more who have done the reverse, leaving canikon for Sony.
Sony make good, innovative products.
So does Olympus. And Fujifilm. And Panasonic.
Mirrorless is not the wave of the future; it's right here, right now, TODAY. And yes; Mirrorless cameras can now be considered great sports cameras.
