I visited Vero Beach this week. As with other wetland areas in Florida this one too is drying up quickly. This forces the fish into smaller and smaller areas. So the birds, also, congregate in tighter spaces. Some rain would be nice.

It's so dry that my neighbor across the street found a 7' alligator in their yard. Its water hole must have dried up. I sure hope we start getting a little rain soon.
