Glad to see your post, and welcome to the UHH. As of now I will be moving from New Orleans, to a small town just outside of Concord, called Bow. Friday, I returned from a house hunting expedition, that was fruitful. So, we'll be on our way to NH in June sometime. I've visited NH almost every Summer for the last 10 years, and have enjoyed every trip. But, the Winters seem awful, so I'll be a "snow bird" for sure.

I finally got some time to spend on UHH. Thank you all for you warm greetings. I need to find out how to post a message to the members on my Buddy List. I think this will go to everyone. Not sure.

Any way, here is the short story:

I am a web developer and photographer. My wife and I moved to NH seven years ago when she retired. It is probably the best thing we have done. I have been involved in photography since the age of nine when I got my Brownie Hawkeye camera. In my teenage years I was getting paid for photography while my friends were doing odd jobs to earn money. The income from these jobs helped me to support my photo purchases. I am a true Nikon photographer. From the days of film now to digital. I still maintain a darkroom and do all my B&W there. Only color has moved me to the digital world kicking and screaming. I do much work for the town, the theater, and Rotary for their photo needs. When I get some time I will start to post my work. I also have a web site www.squarephotogallery.com where I sell some of my work.
Other interests are skiing, golfing and Scuba diving. You can see in the Avatar photo that I teach 3-4 year olds to ski through the town's recreation program. It is a lot of fun.

Again, thanks for all the greetings.

Best,
Ivan

I am Ivan. I live in the beautiful white mountain area of northern New Hampshire. Moved here seven years ago from Long Island New York. Best thing we ever did. I am a professional web developer and photographer. I use my photographic skills to compliment the web sites I develop, but also use photography as an art form. Not much for people pictures, but love scenery. From what I have seen on this forum, I think I can be a useful contributor. There is much good information here that I have seen so far. Always good to have more than one opinion.

Welcome, you've found a great place to hang your hat. Love the North Country. Send some photos please! What town if I may ask?
