Came across this in the parking lot yesterday. I have no idea of the make or manufacturer. Looks like a custom bike to me.

Looks like a bad ass bike. You couldn't tell if it was a Harley engine? I'll stick to dirt bikes if I ever ride again. I'd rather eat a tree than the ass end of a Lexus.

I am not an expert on bikes. I have seen enough Harley's around but I have never seen anything like this one. Could be a one off.

This is not a Bike, I repeat, this is not a bike, it's a motorcycle. Why would I say this, because I am a true biker, a true biker does not have a motor on his bike. A motorcycle Has a motor and no pedals, a bike has pedals and no motor. There is no bike in motorcycle so why do they call them self bikers. Just saying from some who has taken part in bike rides in five states and 100 mile rides in Maryland and Virginia.

It started out as a Harley Street Glide, most likely. Or possibly a Harley Electra Glide Standard. Although there are clearly VERY few stock parts remaining on it now.

Yeah, definitely not off the line. Still I'll take the green one, it has a nice basket (and it looks better)!

Well I've been riding motor bikes, or as they are also known, motorcycles, since I was 15 and that was quite some time ago. There's no bike in bicycle but there is in motor bike. Interesting how both contain cycle, bicycle and motorcycle. Interesting how just about everyone I know who rides a motorcycle calls them a bike. Just saying from someone who has ridden a motor bike/motorcycle in at least 42 of the 50 United States and has ridden from the Atlantic Coast to the Pacific Coast and back. My longest one day ride was from Tennessee to Pennsylvania, a distance of just under 900 miles.
Oh, by the way, there are motor bikes that indeed do have pedals; usually have 49cc two stroke engine, and you have to use the pedals to get it going.

It almost looks like a Honda Engine. I have a 2001 Honda Shadow 1100cc that is (nearly) full dress so it looks similar to a full dress Harley or Goldwing. Actually closer to the Honda Silverwing.
That BIKE (and yes most motorcycle enthusiasts refer to their motorcycles as bikes) looks similar to a heavily customized Honda (or Yamaha). A lot of customizing add on parts are available from bike (not bicycle) shops across the country so nearly anything (including making the bike a 3 wheeler or 4 wheeler) is possible.

You are right MT, I just downloaded the image and saw the air intake. Probably is one of the Harley Glides. I couldn't see if there was a belt drive or not. My Honda has a drive shaft.

Hello Bcheary. Shooter's correct, in that the bike started out as a 'full-size' Harley. The cylinder heads are the design in use since '84. I've an '02 Springer and '46 Flatty under sheets since flag football replaced long distance road trips here, after the practice wife ran off and the new Queen and I spawned our going-on 9yr old son. No regrets. At 73 and on Warfarin I've become leary of traveling amid texters.... Know anybody itching to step up for a 50+ yr collection of parts and a Harley or two? :-)
