First try at Close Up Photography

I am currently on vacation with my family in Kauai, Hawaii. Yesterday we spent several hours at the National Tropical Botanical Garden, what a beautiful place. I did not bring my tripod so all of the photos were taken hand held so I apologize in advance for some of the soft images. C&C is welcome as I am at the bottom of the learning curve and can use all the advice I can get. The equipment I used is a Nikon D810 and a Nikon 105 Macro, f2.8 with VR.

Very nice. Really like the last one. I just started with a micro (Nikon' s name for a macro). Great place for photo's. Keep it up.

I'd say you're off to a great start, JoeB! Beautiful flowers with pretty details. My favorite is the orchid, one of my favorite flowers to shoot.
