Medium to large frame Lenses

I've been toying around with going the medium to large frame route.
With adapters, I could use the lenses on my full/crop frame camera but I have a question about the multiplyer and their use.
Never using the large lenses before, can any one tell me what the multiplyer, (divisor?), would be for a full and/or crop sensor camera body?
If you have any insights about the pros and cons of using the lenses on adapted cameras, please throw that in also.

If you're talking about using meduim or large FORMAT lenses on your DSLR, the crop factor is the same. Assuming you could mount a Hasselblad 150 lens to your DX camera, it would act like a 225mm lens on a full frame camera. Or a 300mm lens from a view camera would act like a 450.
Doesn't matter if the lens is for meduim or large format, they are still measured the same. The difference is that are made to cover a larger format.

Yes, I see now that he mentioned both:

I gave the crop factors for the DX camera, because that's the eternal question on this site. Milimeters are milimeters.
The angle of view is dependant on what format you are using. (assuming the lens can cover it)

Just curious. . . How do you attach a Hassy lens to a Nikon or Canon camera, or any other combination of such different lens & body pairings?

That was just an example- if you could, which I doubt.

Look at the background of my avitar and you'll see the Hassy with a 150.

I don't think anybody has ever made an adapter for large format to slr or dslr cameras. Could be wrong, but large format lenses are usually attached to a lens board with a threaded ring. Also, while the glass on a large format lens is as good or better than most dslr lenses, they are relatively primitive. I could see no value in attaching one to a dslr.

I have seen them advertised on Ebay, but they are very expensive.

well there are adaptors to use hassy to nikon bodies affordable and secure 30-50 bucks . dr. farzin
