Annoying Pre-Roll ads on linked videos

I enjoy many of the linked videos from General Chit-Chat posts, however recently the pre-roll ads are getting MUCH longer! I don't mind the 3 to 4 second ad you can then skip, but some are now using 25 to 30 second ads that cant be skipped at all. I will NOT watch them, no matter how tempting the video might be. I always will close the link whenever an ad is longer than 4 or 5 seconds.

I do the same. Patience is not one of my virtues. Of course it's ads that pay for the videos, but like tv commercials I surf around them when possible. I have never purchased anything based on commercial ads.

Yes, Mr. Greenway, I fully agree. Most are of no interest to anyone but the poster, and for them it's a quick & easy way to get noticed.
A bit like you, I delete most of the links without even looking at them.
I want to see actual photographs taken by the poster with a brief explanation.

Agreed, VERY annoying!
IF I do let the ad run, I certainly don't watch it, and my sound is always off until there is something playing that I want to listen.
