Lame-Duck Loc: Fresno, California

I had a good number of shore birds around on the ponds that I like to photograph duck and geese on. The duck and geese are long gone, and the only birds left are shore birds, plus a few others. I got some nice opportunities to to shoot avocets, so here are four that I sort of liked.

Thank you for the compliment. And yes, they are a somewhat smaller shore bird. I photographed these shots with a Canon 7D Mark II, using a Canon 400 mm L series, f/5.6 lens.
