Keep 'em coming, Angela. I like the "Remnants from the past" one the best.
Great captures!! Looks like a good site for a Stephen King novel.
Love the texture shots of the peeling paint, probably lead too!

Amazing shots of the Looney bin. There were 3 major state mental facilities on Long Island Kings Park Pilgrim state and Creedmor. Each were self contained Cities unto themselves, The things that happened there were truly grotesque and would astound the people of today.Your pictures are a grim reminders of past abuses. Thanks for posting.

Thanks Tom... glad you enjoyed. These are really sad shots, but it once was one of the largest phych centers on LI.

Thanks Bob, glad you enjoyed part 2 of this series... this was my first time there and I couldn't believe the size of the property and the amount of buildings that were there and all still standing!! Very eerie and you can imagine the screams that were coming from all those broken windows....
A return trip is in order, since there were so many more buildings to explore and also the grounds are kept immaculate, so it wasn't scary at all!
Wow!! The porch looks like an ideal setting for you to have a tea party, Angela.
Seriously, these are fantastic shots, and this place is beyond interesting! What a fantastic find!!!

So if I book a date to have a tea party there, will you come????? LOL...
Glad you enjoyed these, Donna, I'm trying to group them together by each of the buildings, at least that way people can understand better what I was seeing.
I just hope I don't bore everyone and make them go 'crazy'!!!
Enjoy the day!!

Glad you enjoyed these, Sylvis... sad to see what this place was reduced to, even though what happened in these buildings many years ago was also sad.
Hope you check out the link, there are also photos posted on the inside!!

Glad you enjoyed these, Bob.... but no worry, we were not in any danger, the only danger I saw was a lot of poison ivy... at least I know what it looks like, I had to keep warning my friend!!
I'd love to have you come explore with me.... there's so much more I haven't seen yet, also, there's so much more I haven't posted yet... I'm trying to group them by each of the houses we went to, so others can see what I did.
Have a good evening!!
