When traveling there are many choices for cameras and lenses. I am not afraid to use my mirrorless cameras in a sandy environment or in the rain with the proper precautions. In my experience with mirrorless that I am going to call it limited, a good wide angle and a medium range wide to tele zoom is more than enough to cope with the variety of subjects we will encounter while traveling.
