I've noticed when traveling that in some countries the Coke doesn't taste the same. I assume they bottle it there so is it the same in Israel as it is here?

Being from Atlanta I have been to The Workd of Coke several times. If you ever go you will see there are examples of different flavors unwed in countries to accomidate local taste. Coke is not the same everywhere. You will get to taste some of the products offered around the world, some good, some not to my liking. But give them a try. To me the best coke was the original 6 oz bottle from my youth. And while there walk across the tarmac to the Georgia Aquarium. Amazing!

Wayne, truth be told, I'm a seltzer guy so I never actually drank Coke in Israel.

Thanks, that answers my question.

Are you sure that's Hebrew?

Absolutely sure. But what is unusual is that the labels are in cursive Hebrew, and a rather fancy one at that. No one ever prints in block letters in Israel. But it's very rare that a label or sign or anything like that uses a cursive font instead of block letters. That's why it doesn't look like the Hebrew you're used to seeing. Cursive Hebrew does look a lot like Arabic.

I think the reason it's in cursive is because Coca Cola is in cursive.

I have never been out of the U.S., but I have noticed that Coke bottled in different plants here in Missouri has a different flavor, which I believe is caused by the local water.

I think I would have a problem reading the label (maybe) if it weren't for the color of it. I don't do very well reading Hebrew cursive. Actually, I'm only a novice when it comes to modern Hebrew. I've been to the World of Coke in Atlanta once. It was really interesting. I also saw Coke on the side of a truck in Israel when I was there. This brings back pleasant memories.
