Converting over to Adobe Lightroom CC

I have done quite a bit of searching over the past couple of days attempting to answer some questions I have regarding converting over to Adobe CC. I have a prepaid card for a 1 year subscription and understand the benefits of going this route, but have some nagging questions! I am currently running the latest version of standalone Lightroom (V6.9, I believe) and I am having no issues. However, when I switch over to the subscription model, what happens to all of my plugins? I use Topaz, Photomatix and a few others. Will those have to be reloaded? What happens to all of my configurations and imported libraries? Do I lose all of my edits? If I have to do a complete reload and configuration of Lightroom, that is going to be a very long and painful experience. I simply do not understand how this process works. Maybe those wiser than I and who have actually gone through this conversion can offer some advice and words of wisdom? There is a lot of experience and talent in this group! Thank you for any information you can offer. In the mean time I will continue to search sites like Lightroom Queen and others.

The current library will be converted to the new format so all your edits will stay intact. As far as plugins go, simply copy the plugin folders to the new version of LR. Sounds messy but it's pretty simple. I have gone through at least 4 conversions with no problems.

I had no trouble when I first converted to the CC version, everything moved with the conversion, no edits lost. However, later versions of LR have occasionally caused my plugins to vanish from the LR Edit In menu, which meant I either had to copy the plugin folder over or re-download and reinstall them. Either way, it's a very easy process, that only takes a few minutes. If you run into trouble, ask, there's lots of folks who've done this and some are quite expert.

When I went from 5 to cc, It all went without a hitch. Only difference, PS shows up along with NIK as an "Edit - in" application.
