Is there any way to send pictures via E-Mail from Dropbox without the recipient having to sign into the site???

I believe there is. Just send the email through the dropbox location at which you uploaded the photo. The email arrives with a link that the recipient clicks and that take them to the image's location. That also ensures that the recipient only goes to the location of the image.

Create a folder in the Photos built in folder. Put your pictures in it. When you right click on the folder name one of the options that comes up in the flyout menu is "Copy DropBox Link" - which you can then paste into an email.

The recipient will be directed to dropbox.com, to your account and their folder. No need to sign up, however, it is free and you should encourage the recipient to get an account. If you send them an invitation though dropbox, you will get additional free storage on your account. I am up to 10 gb storage at this point.

I frequently use Dropbox for sharing files, photos, music, ... Perhaps I am not understanding the question, but this is what I do:
1. Load the folder into your Dropbox (whatever files you want to share)
2. Hover mouse on that folder
3. Click on share (right side)
4. Enter email address of recipient and send.
Hope this helps.

I have a relatively large load of pix I need to send out. Is there a limit on how much volume is allowed in the email?

All you are sending in the email is a link for them to click on, so it doesn't matter how many pictures are involved. The only limit is the limit you have on the size of your dropbox account.

Good response. I should have included that in my response.

This is the reason to use DropBox

Mark, using the special Photos folder lets the recipient find view a slide show on the dropbox webstie.

Thanks Gene. I do not see that option in my Dropbox. I do see a manual "slide show", by opening one of the images and then using the arrow advance for succeeding images.
Is that the feature you are referencing?
