Projection for slides , a Question

Having gone over to digital ( DSLR ) in 2012 , I have over 3,000 old slides stored . I want to scan them eventually into computer files but with Kodak announcing the return of Ecktachrome soon , I have a question . I'd like to shoot some film again at times , as I have a lot of lenses and 3 SLR's still in my inventory . Chrome film is still my favorite .
I actually prefer to view slides through a projector over anything through a computer screen and was wondering if new projectors offer 2 things that I would find important ;
1.) a quiet projector w/o the very loud cooling fan .
2.) a projector that could project an image , from slides (and) from a computer file .
I'm not sure if such an animal exists , but if it does I would appreciate any information about it .
Thank you very much in advance .

A few things for you for thought. If you scan your slides into the computer; the images will be preserved. If not, they will fade in time. Any of the projectors out there that can be hooked up to a computer can project both slides and photos on a screen same as a slide projector did in the past. I'm sure you can find ones with quieter fans than they used top have but the bulbs for these projectors are very bright and put out a lot of heat and need to be cooled to keep them from burning out.

Digital projectors vary a lot in the quality of the image that they project. The better ones have adjustments and cost more.

I have owned a dozen slide projectors and bought a $7,000 3M Video projector in 1999 that is now worthless, but I never heard of a video projector that can project photographic slides. Incidentally, some museums that have photo shows with awards for photographers are insisting on entries being in the form of slides. The reason: It's too easy to edit digital photos. Because high quality slide projectors are no longer being manufactured, these museums are looking for top-of-the-line used projectors in good condition. I sold two Kodak Ektapros to a museum in Jerusalem last December for $1,500 and a museum in Cairo is also interested in a pair. By using projectors in pairs, the dark phase is eliminated. I have at least 30,000 slides and have produced shows with four computerized projectors. Some theme parks used as many as 30 or more slide projectors (most have since gone digital) for their shows back in the 90s. In my opinion, only the best digital projectors can compete in quality with slide projection.

Scans... not slides. No new optical slide projectors are being made.

We scan prints and slides, put them on a USB flash drive, and plug it into our smart TV or a projector.

Yes, they make projectors, that seem pretty quiet, but image quality is not the same as watching slides with a conventional projector. A friend of mine has one and he paid an insane amount of money for his (I guess it was close to $7 or 8.000.00 and that thing is a monster at nearly 70lbs). Image Quality can not compete with my conventional projector (sharpness, color, just overall)!

For projecting slides I would love one of those Kodak Ektapro 9020. For viewing large digital images I would get a 4K TV rather than projector. Even though the projectors are more expensive they don't seem to have as good image quality as direct view screen especially OLED screen.
