I'm working on some dog pictures taken with flash, and there is the inevitable green eye. Is there a way to deal with that in LR4.1?

I've never found a good way that looks normal...I don't use on-axis flash on the buddies for this reason. :)

What a bunch of cuties.

Corel's PSP has something that works for animal "green" eyes. It's listed as a red eye remover but the results are opaque enough to cover that spot....

If you have PSE 10, click Burn tool, click your brush style and size, click Range and select Highlights in the menu. Click the eye you want to darken. PSE darkens the eye. You can click as many times as you want to darken the eye. Good luck. Found the directions in "Teach Yourself Visuall PSE 10".

Those little pupppies would be cute if they had any color. When you find an answer to your question please title it and post.

I haven't had this issue (yet) and been using Lightroom less than a year. If I had to do it today, and not knowing if there was a better way, I'd first try the Red Eye remover tool. I'm already assuming that wont work, but I would try it anyway. Then if it didn't work, I would see if I could change that color (that green color) to red, and then use the red eye remover.

I did an initial google search and found a few links. here's a video I found but there were more links found that could be useful.

I'm doing a small book of pug pics through Adorama.

If all else fails, just go out on the net and find you some photos of pugs and use the eyes to correct your shots. Pretty easy fix in Photoshop.

That's a novel approach.

No. If I did, they would lose their super powers.

Pugs are cute, even with the eyes like that.

We were set to get a rescue pug, and as I pulled into the parking space at the SPCA, I saw a couple leaving with a pug - the one we would have gotten. So, we had a two hour ride home. Then two more pugs surfaced closer to home, but they went to good homes.
