Sorry Trump, but the wave of the future is not the coal industry.

Even the Coal Museum is using solar energy. Only the Trumpeteers believe that coal will make a come back.

I cannot imagine why. I question whether even Trump thinks coal will return like it did. He was just interested in the votes, I think.

He will say anything to incite short cited individuals to support him; and then he believes his own lies.
It is all meaningless, amoung other promises--just like health care for everyone, lock her up rhetoric, and the absurdity of Mexico paying for The Wall.

I guess we can add the lumber industry to the mix. another short sighted industry. both industries grab the profit and ignore the damage they do.
lumber, clear cutting, erosion, stream pollution, and the taxpayer stuck with replanting the forrest.
coal, water and land pollution, company stores ripping off workers, and company doctors and lawyer covering up black lung for years while tens of thousands died.

It worked, but unlike that POS Osucko and POS Hillary, Trump is trying to give people a chance to movr into other fields of endeavor while still working.

We know there are no "programs". Trump has successfully perpetuated a fraud against these people and this country.

Do you have solar installed at your house?

I don't, but I live in the Northeast. We are not exactly known for never ending sunshine of places like El Paso with 300 days of sunshine. We aren't Seattle either (164 days) but pretty close with 200.

The future may very well be with solar but the present is not. The cost of panels has come down but until there is a cost acceptable way for energy storage it will continue to be a tease but isn't that the nature of "things in the future"? Life will be better in the future. Unfortunately you can't feed your family now from the future and the reality is that Solar energy, as it sits today, would disappear if not for taxpayer sponsored subsidies. If Trumps plans to free up coal now adds jobs that sounds like a good thing to me. If we can manage to sell coal to the chinese and fill those empty cargo ships on their return trips to China, well that sounds even better.

Doesn't need to make a "comeback" we already have it! Also, no one is calling for a ban on exploring alternative sources of energy. You should bitch as much about solar guys buying politicians as much as you do about the petroleum guys buying politicians.
