President Trump as seen by a well-respected Conservative and historian....

Exactly.

George Will changing his stripes is not exactly new news. He crossed over about a year ago, at least in regards to Donald Trump. He also, like many others predicted Donald Trump would not President. Not sure where Mr. Will is coming from sometimes because back in the day he also took some shots at Reagan but quickly saw the light.
Most of these people that like to push these opinion pieces are also coming from the same group (right or left) that stated unequivocally that Donald Trump would never be president. They do not seem to care for the egg all over their faces.

Perhaps it's not so much that Mr. Will has changed his policy standards but that President Trump is changing his! It seems George Will remains true to conservative values (he's not advocating increasing spending, nor increasing taxes, nor expanding centralized government controls). Mr. Will is questioning the need for expanding the DoD budget by $54 billion which is interesting considering the US Dod budget is already greater than the next 7 largest DoD budgets for other countries.

I think Mr. Will is simply calling attention to the major policy flip-flops in the Trump administration. President Trump can get away doing that with internal US issues (he'll piss off his loyal supporters who expect him to fulfill his promises). However, President Trump cannot get away with name-calling and then pandering to the very same entities (i.e. "China is a currency manipulator"; just recently, "why would I call China a currency manipulator?", NATO is useless, and then NATO is important).

I'm not a liberal, RINO or any other name people may wish to call and dismiss me as; I'm just another citizen hoping I am not dealing with a "bait and switch" President.... which I am increasingly coming to believe.

Will lost all credibility with me when he demeaned former President Reagan. His vitriol toward President Trump is well known, and that's why I put him in the RINO camp. Will, during the primaries seemed to favor Jeb, which most conservatives soundly refuted.

An article from Will regarding Jeb; http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/george-f-will-the-gop-faithful-should-give-jeb-bush-a-hearing/2014/04/02/c29a66f2-b9be-11e3-96ae-f2c36d2b1245_story.html?utm_term=.adb0d1863fa4

Well, yea, what did you expect? Oh, were you expecting something other than an ad hominem argument from the kool-aide drinking wingnut class of Trump cultists? Let me LOL that!

Many conservatives abhor Trump and most of his cabinet seeing that he is a disgrace and an embarrassment to our nation. George Will certainly doesn't stand alone.
