It looks like an Australian version of our Trumpet Creeper (Campsis Radicans). You need to post images of it with the flowers completely open.

That looks like the flower on some of our aloe plants. Does it grow on the top of a stalk that comes out of the center of the plant?

I recently got a shot of something very similar - same color, same type of individual blossom. I think it's some kind of succulent. So many plants are imported from other parts of the world, it would surprise me if this came from S.Africa.
