Here's an image I have never solved the puzzle of. It has those rays I love, but I've never been able to do much with them. And I don't know about that mamma sheep and the twins either. This was one of those "pull off the road in the ditch" photos where the light was changing quickly and then gone with no time to find a better subject. I'd be interested to see if anyone could make anything interesting out of it. All kinds of solutions are welcome. DNG is available in this link. https://www.dropbox.com/s/n2u3lnbr0lk7h50/Sheep%2BRays%20%281%20of%201%29.dng?dl=0

You have until midnight Thursday then we'll put this to a vote.

I was thinking of adding more critters, but didn't trust myself to know when to stop So I just moved mama and the twins a little closer + did a bit of softening, lightening, saturation, warmth, glow, etc.

Thanks for the fun, Minnie!

Hi Mini,

They are called Crepuscular rays, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crepuscular_rays ,also known as sun beams, or God's rays. I love them too and they can be a challenge. I might suggest you could try a bump in contrast or selective color and tad of saturation boost. Subtle is the key, you do not want to overdo it.
