I remember when Earth Day was declared with the emphasis on reduce, reuse, recycle. I'm thinking "Bet that won't catch on" How wrong. Sites like this encouraged volunteer "clean-ups". The idea is supposed to spread, making our world a cleaner place and preserve resources for generations to come...I think that was the idea...
Just dump it over the bank where no one sees it (and this gully goes down to a river...)

"Earth Day" is coming - Saturday. How do you visually interpret earth, dirt, earth day?

Stones in a wall and the tenacity of life. I went out to shoot spring flowers at the dry stone wall at the farm. I also noticed 2 stones at the base. The one with the lichens, proves that life can grow anywhere. The stones in all the New England dry stone walls are glacial till. The striations the the second stone are grooves cut by glacial grinding. The daffodils are at the base of the wall. Again proving the tenacity of life.
