1977. Peoria, Illinois. Civil War Re-enactment She had a twin...could not her sister to stay still for any kind of picture. MANY people have seen this pictures....many have wanted copies. 20X30 on my wall. Hoped for many years I could find out who she is...but have long given up. I never liked taking pictures of kids unless I got their parents permission. They were not around... I could not pass it up.

Awesome photo. Admire how all the primary colors come together - red sprinkler, golden (hair), pretty blue dress, green grass. Sometimes the very best images are those planned the least. Very nice composition. /Ralph

I to usually avoid taking photos of children without permission, I know I have the right to do so, but Its out of respect for the parents and to avoid bad scenes. This one I would have taken as you did.
