When did America become a Monarchy?

Trump is making things up as he bumbles along. He thinks he can rule by Divine Fiat. (Yes, I do believe he thinks he is a god.) This government is not analog of the Apprentice. He tells people what they want to hear and then does whatever he feels like doing at the spur of the moment. He is leaving a trail of broken promises and outright lies. Trump supporters here like Flying Tiger will burst a blood vessel when he reads this...

"Deus et mon droit" is not America's motto; ours is "E Pluribus Unum" and Donald Trump is doing his very best to break that concept - he has divided the country to a degree I've not seen since the Vietnam war. God help us all, the man is a dangerous incompetent... hell, he doesn't even get the facts right ("We are sending an armada to deter Pyongyang. We have submarines, very powerful, far more powerful than the aircraft carrier.”)

He can't even get the direction right... not north, it was south! His lack of direction is clearly apparent; and so I ask, how can he lead us if he cannot even get the direction right?!!!

(Here's your red meat for the day.... have fun!)

Donald Trump has not divided the country as much as certain others have. Those others are Democrats, who refuse to accept that their queen lost the election, George Soros, who seem bent on sticking his nose, and money, into places he doesn't belong, and the continued rancor perpetuated by a bunch of sore losers. I'd suggest you hop aboard and work at making America Great Again.

So George Soros doesn't belong in politics but the Koch brothers do.
Personally, I think Trump is showing the early signs of dementia in addition to all his other problems and although Ivanka is strikingly good looking, she's just as evil as he is.

So, it was OK for Obama to issue executive actions, but it's not OK for Trump to do likewise ?

In response to your Koch brothers question:

Speaking of evil partners, just take a look at Michelle.

Check how many riots Soros has had his financial hand in. Additionally, he was financially involved here in Az. in the election of Maricopa County Sheriff. Although it isn't against any law to contribute, he doesn't live here. He should keep his nose out of our local politics.

I'm afraid you are in error. I assume your thoughts are sincere but they are wildly off the mark, wildly.

Falling in love with a concept is like falling for a hooker; you just can't believe the reality.

Yes, she does that for money, but she loves only me.

Hope you get a grasp soon.

I'm sorry, perhaps I mis-spoke.

You really do believe this crap, don't you?

I'm so disappointed to learn you're sincere.

I'll leave you to your fantasys.

This answer could apply to your thoughts as well.

Again, you are ASSuming your beliefs to be the only correct ones.

Thanks for your kind wish. I'm not so sure I'm wildly off the mark. Perhaps a little in some few places, but not completely.

Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, I've not had any close relationships with hookers. I conversed with one years ago. It was just in passing, as I was going into an all night convenience store on my way home from work.

I'm not so sure I understand your statement that falling in love with a concept is like falling in love with a hooker. I think many people fall in love with concepts, look at those who are religious. I'm not sure that that would be like falling for a hooker. Perhaps in your way of thinking, it is.

We probably all have beliefs that to other may appear as crap. I guess that keep things interesting. I do believe that Soros is not all that good for this country. Unfortunately, he has enough financial backing to inflict his ill beliefs on others. But, that could be said about anyone with tons of money who wishes to influence politicians.

It is not just the use of Executive Orders, which are far greater at this point in the administrations tenure compared to prior presidents. However, comparisons to prior administrations are off point.... deflection does not address the points I've made. How do you defend or justify the broken campaign promises, the lies, the gross indulgences for costly "weekend getaways". If you want to compare this presidency to others, why ignore these points?

The fact is Trump is proving unfit for the Presidency. His remaining supporters always fail to address the "meat of the matter" and instead attempt to distract by pointing out the perceived transgressions of prior Presidents. Deal with today's reality, focus on that.

If you think otherwise, tell me why you think Trump is working with Congress to effect change using the customary procedures. Don't compare his actions to prior presidents; if you believe he is better, tell me why. If you cannot, then you're just blindly following a misogynist, petty, narcissistic, selfish, over-sensitive "player" who has the ability to launch nuclear missiles.

How many broken promises did Obama have ? Shutting down Gitmo comes to mind. Then the lies. "If you like your health plan /doctor, you can keep it"
or his promise that Healthcare premiums would fall by $2500 per family.... Face it, all politicians lie & comparisons with past presidents are what you are doing with the posts anyway.... If you weren't, the points would not matter.

Huh? Non-sequitur!

Once again you fail to address the key question: What is Trump doing that makes you feel he is worthy of your respect? It is not a comparison to other administrations, that is just a pointless distraction. Deal with the reality; what has Trump done that makes you feel he is worthy of your respect (and the respect of others)?

No, I don't think you can. I think those who continue to blindly support him do so simply because his racist, belligerent, scornful, lying approach to leadership somehow appeals to you but you don't want to admit it.

The man is a philistine; he is increasing spending on weapons while decreasing support for science and education. Since the US currently has a defense budget that is greater than the combined total next 7 largest other countries' defense budgets, ask yourself why he thinks we need to increase the DOD budget by another $59 billion.

If you can't see what good he has done (but not all has been good), anything I say will not matter to you as you are too blind to see otherwise.
