I just bought a refurbished 12-40mm f/2.8 lens and it's not here yet. Does any body have this lens and how do you like it?
It's a great lens (I own one).
Sharpest lens I have or had and I had the 75mm 1.8

It is smaller, lighter, and faster than my 14-56 f2.8/3.5 lense. My grandson bought his 12-40 lense for my old E-M5 body that I gave him. He loves it and used it while he was stationed in Stewart, Alaska. I find for me that occasionally my 14mm wide on my lense was not quite wide enough for some of my interiors. Interiors and tight places (narrow streets of Europe) is where the "extra" 2mm difference in lenses becomes a big different in shooting.
It is a superb lens, you will enjoy using it.

I have that lens, bought it new. It is the lens that normally "lives" on the camera (OM-D E-M1).
I love it. I get sharp photos with that lens, and the weight (on an over-the-shoulder strap) is fine to carry around when walking.
You don't say what camera you will be using it with, but I think that with any of Oly's M4/3's it will make a good partnership.

I have the Oly EM-1 camera and love it. Lens I have are 12-100mm, 14-150mm, 25mm and 45mm. It seems no matter what lens I use I get great pictures.

I have it for several years and it is my walk around lens. On a recent trip to the Galapagos I shot with it almost exclusively. Lens is sharp and at 2.8 full range is good in low light light. Also the OMD EM1 and lens fits in the top compartment of my LowePro sling allowing me to carry a second OMD EM1 with long zoom in the main compartment.
You are going to be delighted with it.
Do you happen to know if this lens could be used with a FF Sony A7M2 with an adapter? Thx, RAB
Thx. Your glib answer is very much appreciated. R
