The ranks are thinning....
or so it seems. The past few days there are been far fewer birds in the garden. I suspect many have left for their summer retreats. The Cat Bird has not been seen for a couple of days and there are far fewer finches. The Cardinals tend to be year round as are the Doves and a few others.

From the exif data it shows she used a Nikon D810 and a Nikon 200-500 lens.

I checked, D810 (36MP), 200-500mm Zoom with extender! Looks like a great set up!

Thank you. D810 w/Nikkor 200-500 and TC-14E III. I don't always use the TC but I did on these.

Thank you Will. I have a nice location for shooting these. The trees in the background are far enough away to make nice backgrounds.

Thank you. The yellow bird is a male Goldfinch. He still had just a touch of tan coloring but had mostly changed to the beautiful yellow.
