Wanted to get a picture of the wife's C5 Corvette, but she didn't want it out of the garage yet as the trees are dropping little red buds all over everything.
Took the original photo, then did a selection on the Vette, inversed the selection, cloned the wood out from under the tires, did a motion blur (500+ pixels), and cleaned a bunch of the reflections off the car with the healing tool. Added auto tone change.

Very nice. I love blue. You photo proves that the 18-55mm kit lens is alive and well. I own that lens too.
Love what you did here, it has a sense of wanting to jump off the line.
Thanks all, for your comments! Appreciate it.
That looks amazing! Great work.
...it's saying, "please...take me out"
I like your low composition. It gives the impression that it will burn rubber in a few seconds. Good capture of the color
Nice picture. Really good post work. It is time she gets the car on the road. We took our red Miata our for the first time today this season. Nothing better than having a fun ride. Post more photos when you have a chance.

Thanks, yes she is just waiting for a string of good days. Though she is getting it out Monday to get four new tires put on. Yes, it is normally fun, but she is an autocrosser, and plays more than I like from the passenger seat...
Just noticed you are from Okemos. Hi from Ann Arbor.
Oh, just down the road! Yesterday's weather got her thinking about getting it out, as I'm sure that's what you were enjoying with the Miata!
