That's so cool! Where in Oregon is that? I was stationed in Astoria which is across the Columbia from Washington state. I traveled up and down the coast so I may actually have seen that but I was there in 1965 to 1966 so my memory is not crystal clear of my time there. The one I posted, by the way, is in Stanley Park in Vancouver, BC.

Depoe Bay area...Loved it there -My brother in law, Thom Juul( hedgehogger) had a time share and invited us to spend some quality time ! It was a momental experience!

One last tree, a Torrey Pine tree, taken today at Torrey Pines State Park overlooking the Pacific ocean in San Diego. This pine tree only grows in two places in the world, San Diego and on an island off Santa Barbara. As trees go, not the most beautiful, but pretty rare:
